From Oldest to Newest:
December: Mom came to visit for Christmas. We had family Christmas in Colombia with concerts, school festival, and Novenas here at the apartment building.
November: There are two long weekends in November which meant a few visits to the beach but mostly family time and working. Lucia continues to dress as a princess most days. Luckily I can sew so the options available have increased - this allows us to wash the dresses between wearings.
October: the kids are both at our same school now which means they come in with us and spend a half an hour or so watching Netflix in my room - and eating breakfast. It's a early morning for them but both Rafa and I are enjoying the extra family time and the chance to walk them to their classrooms. They are both done class at 12:00 and my mother-in-law picks them up and takes them to our house for the afternoon. Our maid has made a big lunch (this is the biggest meal of the day) and they eat and rest till we get home. It's a good routine for us. For Halloween they were Hulk and Princess.
September: Keeping busy - including one visit to the Barranquilla Zoo. They have a "bird room" where you can go in and feed the birds. A big hit!
August: A visit from Abuelo "Loco", first day of school and a family wedding in Cartagenia.
July: Summer in Canada - a camping trip, lots of time at Mom's (including some blueberry picking) and Miami to finish us off.
June: Rafa and I celebrated out 10th wedding anniversary!!!
January: It's Diego's birthday and everyone is a Power Ranger - and a visit to the beach.. of course.
May: Lucia's 4th birthday. A cake at the daycare - and a MiniMouse theme.
April: During Semana Santa we sent to Bucarramanga - and stayed with one of our favorite people "Martica" - among our adventures - a trip to Parke Chicamoncha. Gorgeous mountains and just enough fun stuff to keep the kids happy as well.
March: Mom comes for Carnaval!
February: Is mostly pre-carnaval but with school and a few birthday parties thrown in.
January: It's Diego's birthday and everyone is a Power Ranger - and a visit to the beach.. of course.
